Companion Animal Surgery

South Robeson Vet Clinic is proud to offer the latest in technology with laser surgery. This incredible surgical tool is revolutionizing the way surgery is performed on our companion animals. Laser technology reduces the trauma to your pet, improves recovery, and often shortens hospital stays.

Laser surgery reduces pain from surgery, has less risk of infection, swelling reduction, precision, and decreased bleeding!

Our Surgeries Include:

  • A pain and antibiotic injection during surgery.
  • All standard surgeries, excluding feline neuter, also go home with an antibiotic for a few days to prevent infection.
  • Anesthesia
  • We also provide them with an overnight stay for recovery before they come back home with you.
  • Suture removal in 14 days (excluding feline neuters)

Surgical Canine Requirements:

  • Current on Dhlppc, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines.
  • We do also require they are tested for intestinal parasites before any surgical procedure.

Surgical Feline Requirements:

  • All feline patients need to be current on Rabies.
  • We do also require they are tested for intestinal parasites before any surgical procedure.
