Here at South Robeson Veterinary Clinic, we know adopting an animal from out of state can be a scary and unknown process. We are here to help every step of the way to help get your new family member home, safe and sound.
We will assist you with pulling from several of the high-kill animal shelters within a 45 mile radius to the clinic. We offer special pricing to ALL people that save a pet from a shelter, regardless of 501c3 status. It is our goal to educate you on the process and what we offer as a clinic. Rescue is a passion for our staff, and we pride ourselves on being knowledgeable on the subject.
Here are several areas of information that will guide you through what we require for out-of-area shelter adoptions.
We do require rescues and anyone pulling from the shelter to fill out an agreement form and sign it. It can then either be emailed back to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or fax at 910-628-7915.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: When you pay the pull fee to save an animal from the shelter, it is legally your pet. There is no decision about whether you still want the dog, or you want to send it back to the shelter, we do NOT send animals back to the shelter. Leaving it at our clinic is abandonment and neglect, both charges will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
An animal's eyes have the power to speak a great language.
